The law firm of Burt, Blee, Dixon, Sutton & Bloom
has been, in name, a part of Fort Wayne’s legal landscape
since the 1970s. Its genesis, however, dates back to the early
1920s with the law partnership of Senator Sam Jackson and Raleigh
Parrish. Sen. Jackson was an influential lawyer and popular Hoosier
politician. In the mid-1960s, J. Philip Burt joined the firm, followed
by Dennis Sutton, Thomas Blee, and Thomas Dixon. In the late 1980s,
the firm was renamed Burt, Blee, Dixon and Sutton. Dale Bloom joined
the firm in the late 1990s and our name became Burt, Blee, Dixon,
Sutton & Bloom.
Our integrity, client commitment, depth of expertise
and experience have been the defining factors in our success over
the past 80 years. Perhaps that is why we have maintained long-term
relationships with so many of our clients. We believe that our
clients appreciate our practical, effective approach to the practice
of law.
